We have just a great turnout for this event. We are at 94 players. So, I had to get another time from Buena. The first time now at 6:30 am.

Please play ready golf.

Below are the tee times for Feb 15th Partner's better ball event. Flights will be based on total combined team handicap. There will be 4 flights. We will be playing closest to the pin as individuals. Skins will be as a team.

Do not pay attention to the tee assignment on this email. I will run the handicaps closer to the event to get the most up to date index.

We will be going to start using Golf Genuis app at the first of the year. we have been using this site for our events for a while now, but I would like to use it more to help us out. This will give you real time standings.

You will need to download the Golf Genuis app on your phone. When you get the scorecard, the bottom right will see the code to enter on the app. This will take you to the club's site and your scorecard for you to enter your score. This will help me out and save time. I will be sending out more info on this later and show people how to do it too.

VMGC Rules for the 2026 President’s Cup and Vice-President’s Cup

The entry fee is $10.
The field will have a maximum of 16 players in each group.
If there are byes, the highest seeded players will receive them.
~~The defending champions from the previous year will be the highest seeds.~~ (rule not applicable this year)
The seeding will be based on the standings from the VMGC Club Championship.
The Handicap Chairman will be the Tournament Director for the President’s Cup Tournament.
The Vice President will be the Tournament Director for the Vice-President’s Cup Tournament.
The players must be able to play in their posted time frames.
The players will be given the names, email addresses, and phone numbers of their competitors.
The tournament director(s) will inform the players of their next opponents after each round.
The players will arrange their matches with their competitors EXCEPT for the first round of matches.
The matches can be played at any golf course.
The players must inform the tournament directors of the matches’ results and failed attempts to reach their competitors.
If a match is tied after 18 holes, the players will normally start sudden-death elimination at hole #1 (or the first that was played).
If a match cannot be completed in the posted time frame, one or both players may be disqualified.
The tournament director(s) will ensure the results of the matches are posted on the website.
The winners will receive winnings from the entry fees collected.
Note. The players must be able to play their first round of matches in the reserved time slots at Buenaventura G.C. starting at 8 A.M. on August 24. Please do not sign up for the tournament unless you can play on that dat.
